Three criminals were arrested and the City Police managed to recover a collection of ancient coins and valuable watches, which had been stolen from a collector during a fake buy-and-sell transaction. Personnel from the City Police's 12A Neighborhood Police Station went to a building at Balbín street 3500, in Saavedra, where a collector reported that a couple had deceived him, as they had arranged a buy-and-sell transaction of ancient coins and, when they let them into his apartment, they overpowered him. Afterwards, according to the victim's account, they left the building by breaking the glass door, after which they left in a white Fiat Cronos car, driven by another woman. With the help of the Digital Ring, the car was spotted on Balbín heading towards General Paz, but when the officers tried to identify the occupants, the driver got out of the car and fled on foot, crossing the avenue towards the provincial side, leaving the two women, aged 45 and 60, detained. Subsequently, the accused, aged 37, entered a private property where he took off the football shirt he was wearing and changed it for a black t-shirt, being arrested a few meters away. In the presence of witnesses, the agents searched the vehicle, where they found all the stolen items: eight watches of various brands, four folders with collector's coins, twelve containers with ancient coins, money, a pistol grip, three shotgun cartridges. The officers also seized a jacket, four bags, three mobile phones, in addition to the seizure of the vehicle, highlights the police report sent to the Noticias Argentinas agency. The case was handed over to the National Criminal and Correctional Court No. 52, in charge of Gabriel Omar Ghirlanda.
